Hi! My name is Kanisha Hill and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Joslyn Curley MA, LPC-S. I am passionate about the therapy process.

Have there been things that you wish you could talk about with your friends and loved ones, but just don’t feel comfortable? Maybe you started to push your feelings aside and now find yourself having low self-esteem, feeling down, angry, and resentful. Whether it is anxiety, depression, communication, intimacy, infidelity, work life balance, all the above, or none of the above, you just want relief. My work is driven by the deeply held belief that change is possible and your current circumstances do not have to dictate your future. My aim for you is to feel accepted, understood, and empowered. I believe in creating a warm, nonjudgmental, and authentic space where you feel safe to explore and express yourself.

I specialize in working with children, adolescents and adults (ages 5 and up. )I have worked in settings such as an outpatient treatment facility and Criminal Justice system which have prepared me to work with clients suffering from a wide range of mental health problems and diagnosis.

My approach to therapy is client-centered and strength-based using elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play therapy and Solution Focused therapy. As a Cognitive Behavioral therapist, my goal is to help you think better so you can feel better and can be better.
